I went to a medieval banquet years ago and as I had just got engaged, we were asked to be Lord & Lady for the evening - got to wear posh crown and got fed & watered first (yey!). I found the mead to be quite sweet and little sickly (almost syrupy) but if you like sweet and syrupy then give it a go! Im gonna make my own sloe gin this year - loads of my buddies do and its always so delicious and apparently very easy. I like easy! Let you know how it goes, hic!**~#@* Blessings Lil [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |

Date Posted: 2/03/07 18:07 I have indeed heard of Thomas Malthus, and he is correct. However, to get the most out of land requires intensive agriculture and that is not beneficial to the land. Organic agriculture is better for the land, but does not produce the kind of yield needed to sustain the amount of people in this country. It's stupid. Mmmmmm mead, I haven't done mead for ages, it makes me messy, but it's fun. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
