So this is a new me! I got into the garden properly for the first time yesterday (Sunday). It was a beautiful sunny, clear day up here in the North, perfect for digging and watching the robins and blackbirds hunting for worms. I've been digging beds over ready for the veggies. The onions were in before Yule, the garlic is next, and I've just bought peas, rocket, lettuce, toms, peppers (maybe a bit optimistic up here!)and potatoes (first and second earlies - can never get enough of them and they do such good for the land). It's all very exciting!
