Some other interesting sites;

http://www.gruhn.com/ has many of Dan's instruments on display and several of them come with autographed pictures. You need to click on Inventory and then browse throught the various categories. Under Gretsch electrics is Dan's White Penguin going for a mere $80, 000.

http://alvin.snowbird.net/index.html is another Old Tennessee Alvin site--the top looks like a reference library page, but if you scroll way down to the bottom, you'll find the index.

http://alvindigo.0catch.com/ALVIN!.html is the most interesting page on alvin's site--make sure your audio is on.

I hadn’t been to the Gruhn site in a long while. Looks like most of the guitars have sold. They only have a few listed now. Guess the Penguin needs a very wealthy collector.

Alvin’s sites are really something, aren’t they?. He’s quite a character. But you surely can tell he truly appreciates Dan and his music. I love that. My favorite is the rhythm of the rain sound clip. So cute.
