choco,
that makes sense- i did not know all that. i thought i was getting enough calcium because i eat a lot of yogurt and i do have milk....but it is fat free skim milk and the yogurt is fat free "diet" as well. this really sucks because i HATE eating fat (it just makes me feel gross), and try to have less than 2 grams a day...how much fat would you say is necessary to absorb calcium--is 2 grams enough for the entire day? and also, are your bones still in trouble, if you do not take in enough fat, even if you're not underweight? i'm not exactly underweight, just in the low range of normal, but not getting enough calcium has always concerned me. i always assumed that starvation first eats all of your fat, then muscles, then bones, then organs and what-not. i thought it didn't get to your bones until all the fat is gone. but then again i suppose your bones can be in trouble eating-disorder or not. i guess i just want to know the minimal amount of fat i should eat without getting bone problems. wow i'm stupid.. ana definately sucks!!!
