i know weight obsession affects our society as a whole, but lately i'm beginning to think men perpetuate this as well. perhaps it's because i dont have a job, and usually watch television all day, but it seems like men are just as bad as women when it comes to being obsessed with well, us! i think MTV is horrible but i do watch it, mostly because i'm a loser. and on this show "Room Raiders" it's usually 3 women, one man. the guy searches their rooms, not knowing what they look like, to see which one he wants to date or whatever. the FIRST thing these guys go for is the clothes, checking to see what size they are, for chrissake. he looks at the tag and will say "small. that's good! i like small girls." in one of these instances, he looks at one girls pair of jeans who is a size 5, and then goes on about how is ex-girlfriend was a size 0, and he prefers that. it's disguisting. i think this obsession is spreading like a disease. since when do men care what SIZE we are? since when do they even know what that means? perhaps this is why women see other women as threats, because now men actually care what frickin' size we are. it shouldnt matter, i have a boyfriend, but this crap is now spreading to everybody. it's all a competition to see who can be the smallest, and perhaps who will die trying. God bless america! sorry, bad mood today, dont think i'm actually losing my mind =)
