生命實在「荒謬」。如果這個世界真有真主、上帝或阿拉，不知道牠們對自己這次的傑作是否滿
意，還是輕易地將之歸咎於撒旦。但是，撒旦的面孔是如此多，有時竟偽裝成上帝 —— 又或許
上帝本來就是撒旦，撒旦就是上帝，甚至不是天使。「恐怖份子」在「自由世界」是十惡不赦的
魔頭，在「他/她們」的世界，卻是英雄；而「自由世界」的所謂衛士，在另一個國度，不但是
異端，而且是實實在在的壓迫源頭。

歷史在不斷重復，因為人類不擅於反思。因此，我們只能呆若木雞地看著事情的發生，並且在事
情發生之後，就且了事，或更甚者以暴易暴，卻無法想到如何避免「the fire next time」 -- 或甚
至蓄意製造下一次災難，對象是anyone who is guilty by suspicion。
