It might have taken her a minute to follow Maria, but she finally made it.

Salzay sighed in relief. It was a good thing Aunt Mar-mar (as she liked to refer to Maria as) was going to Daddy's rooms, because she didn't know how to get there! And with her small size, she could've gotten squashed by something on the way! Of course, to anyone else this would sound ridiculous, but Salzay happened to have a strange imagination.

Of course, she didn't know what 'rape' meant as she walked through the door Aunt Mr-mar had accidently left a bit open, but she knew they were talking about Mommy. And crying.

Steadily, she walked over to the man she knew was her Daddy, and reached up to put her hand on his knee (as she couldn't reach anywhere else, like a shoulder) comfortingly. Then, she spoke in an exaggerated whisper.

"You are Daddy, are you." It was more of a statement. "Mommy as(has) a message. She sayses dat(that) you guys can talk water(later), when hew(her) welatives(relatives) are goned."

Of course, Sally was definetly not the best with grammer, but she had the cute four-turn-old voice. She looked up curiously, wondering what he'd say... and why her was crying?

((It's turn, GC... turn.))
