I traveled to Plains GA this past weekend, home of former President Jimmy Carter, to attend the Plains Peanut Festival. This was my first appearance and I had such a great time representing Forestry. Mrs. Dominy, thank you so much for making appearances like this possible. You go above and beyond the limits. I also want to thank Ranger Lumpkin and Smokey Bear for making this such a memorable trip. I heard so many wonderful compliments from the people in Plains. I got to meet Jimmy Carter and his wife at a book signing that afternoon. What an awesome experience. They are very friendly and down to earth people. I wish you all could have been there. I cant wait to make my next appearance. Laura, I enjoyed seeing you and sharing this time with you. Beth, Megan, and Caley, you were beautiful and represented the Forestry unit well. Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing you all again very soon. Again, thank you to everyone that made this trip such a memorable one.
