The Walker Valley Community Enhancement Committee will hold their regular monthly meeting on Wednesday May 19 in the schoolhouse at 7:00pm. Plans for a family type event over the July 4th weekend will be discussed. All interested area residents are invited to participate. The Community Garden Club of Pine Bush will hold their regular monthly meeting on Wednesday May 19 at 6:30pm in the community room in the Crawford Town Hall, Route 302, Pine Bush NY. The Master Gardeners will present a program on shade gardening. With this presentation we will learn about the myriad of plant choices available for our gardens. All are invited to attend.

The Town of Shawangunk and the Recreation Committee will be hosting a BBQ picnic in the Verkeerder Kill Park on Friday May 21 from 12:00noon to 3:00pm. All town residents who are seniors [55 & over] are invited to attend. Food and music will be provided for what should be a fun afternoon of friendship, community and conversations.

Menu will include hot dogs, hamburgers, baked beans, salads, cake, coffee and water. A DJ will be there to provide music for your dancing pleasure. This will be a rain or shine event so make your plans now. No need to sign up ahead of time, just come on down and enjoy! If you need more information contact Donna Vandermark at 845.895.3363.

Relay for Life Team Friends & Family is hosting a ‘Take Out’ chicken BBQ on Sunday May 23 at the Town of Crawford town park, Red Mills Rd., Pine Bush NY. Pick up is at 1:00pm.
