Subject: HarmyBoard Booth!.

We have come up with a theme for the HarmyBoard Booth.

Harmaquin will put in an appearance though we have no idea how to dress him. We may put him in civies this time.

He's have two suitcases: one for London and one for San Diego.

These suitcases will be raffled off. They will contain items appropriate for each venue and also things relating to Harm. There can be some girly items too since he will have a wife either way.

Soooooo we need to know who wants to contribute what.

I know we are going to order some fun little London objects, like a red telephone money box, etc. I'm making a Harm collage callandar for one of the bags. We need some ideas from everyone, even if you are not providing the items. We want Brit stuff and CA stuff, but also Harm related. Oh we are already getting boxers with the Union Jack on them.   - I was thinking about a teapot with the Union Jack on it...or something like that. A good one is quite expensive as are teacups, and I'm wondering about the winner packing them back in luggage. But I like the idea. CM originally suggested something like that, with a scone recipe. We could buy strawberry jam, and a tin of clotted cream. Oooh, San Diego is beautiful! I vacationed there a number of years ago. I'll see what I've got in the way of souveniers, pictures, etc. I also know a couple of people that live in San Diego if we need something specific from there. How about a brochure on wedding chapels for either London or San Diego, since Mac seemed to think they didn't have enough time to marry before they went wherever they were going. Models or pictures of Navy ships and subs for San Diego also. There's the San Dieog Zoo and Wild Animal Park so stuffed animals or pictures. Maybe a build a Harmy animal? How about Harm on Shamu for Sea World? There's also Mission San Diego de Alcala for San Diego history plus Old Town San Diego and Seaport Village. Is Harm still golfing? San Diego is home to miramar....I suspect they must have some souvenir military stuff...I was there once a few years ago for an air show and don't remember blessed thing..LOL... As for the girly items.... someone once gave me a good size rose pin.. It's a single rose bud. The pin is in gold color except for the red petals. Its still in the plastic bag... I've never used it. That might be an appropriate girly thing. I can probably find a small box for it so it looks nicer.   - Sorry, hit enter too soon. Too bad we don't have the resources to put an actual engagement ring in his bag. How much information do dog tags hold? Do they have the name of the duty station? How about some dog tags with either the San Diego or London duty station (if it's on dog tags at all) for the San Diego one we can put Mac's name as one of the things she has in his suit case.       - Someone could write to the two JAG offices and ask if they have any (not all units do) and if they would sell/give one to us to auction for charity. Hi galz -- Don't forget that Miramar is in San Diego -- so some ships or aircraft or gold wings are highly appropriate.
