Subject: Discounted return ferry with P and O for GOME eventers

Hi all,
In researching return ferry options I have spoken with P and O Ferries. They will provide a discount to GOME eventers of 10% for bookings made from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th inclusive. We could have had a greater discount, but would have had to commit to all the cars on one crossing, which is clearly not realistic. Your booking needs to be by phone to 08716 646464 quoting reference code 94028 and quoting The Guild Of Motor Endurance. The discount applies to the booking itself and the first class lounge if required, but does not include the priority embarkation/discharge option. The standard fare (Calais/Dover) is �35 but is for a fixed sailing. The more practical "flex fare" is �45 which would therefore reduce to �40.50 with the discount applied. Not a huge reduction, but better than nowt.
