Subject: GREEN CARD

Just to remind everyone that a green card is vital unless you want to pay for insurance and face delays at each border crossing.

I have been hearing reports that some insurance companies are being obstructive and saying it is not necessary and they do not supply them anymore. This is NOT the case, they probably just don't want the extra admin. Dig your heels in and insist they supply you with one!

Don't think about copying your insurance schedule onto a green piece of paper (mentioning no names - Chris!) and trying to get through with that - it won't work! Carol
