As I watched the news coverage of this last night I wanted to VOMIT! ! ! !
This man has certainly learned and become proficient in the craft of DECEPTION.
He knows how to say words that the listener will accept even though there are large HOLES in what he says.
The POLITICAL CORRECT SPEAKING - or as I have many times brought up - those who have acquired the way to sway people with what and how they say things - "Neuro-linguistic Programming", N.L.P.
Obama was well versed in this method of how to LIE to the Audience and have them agreeing with whatever he said. It seems that Cruz is also a graduate of this method of communication. Insert a small amount of TRUTH in what you say but twist it with the LIE.
Cruz says he will present his birth certificate (to appear as being different than Obama who hides his).
Cruz says he was born in Canada but his mother was an American citizen. He fails to mention that his father was NOT and didn't become one until 2005. (Obama had a US mother but like Cruz - the father was a FOREIGNER. And we have no proof of WHERE Obama was born.)
Both Obama and Cruz had/have DUAL CITIZENSHIP - something the Founding Fathers didn't want to have happen.
NATURAL-BORN CITIZENS ARE THOSE WHO ARE CITIZENS OF THE U.S. FROM BIRTH AND WHOSE PARENTS ARE CITIZENS OF THE U.S. AT THE TIME OF THEIR BIRTH. (Noted: it says whose *PARENTS* - both parents - are citizens of the US at the time of birth. - neither Cruz nor Obama can make truthful claim to that point.)
Cruz was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada,[1][10] where his parents, Eleanor Elizabeth Wilson Darragh[11] and Rafael Bienvenido Cruz,[11] were working in the oil business.[12][13] Cruz's father, Rafael Cruz, who was born in Matanzas, Cuba,[11] was jailed and tortured by the Fulgencio Batista regime and fought for Fidel Castro in the Cuban Revolution[14][15] but "didn't know Castro was a Communist" and later became a staunch critic of Castro when "the rebel leader took control and began seizing private property and suppressing dissent."[16] The elder Cruz fled to America in 1957 to study at the University of Texas, knowing no English and with only $100 sewn into his underwear.[17][18] His younger sister fought in the counter-revolution and was tortured by the new regime.[15] He remained regretful for his early support of Castro, and emphatically conveyed this remorse to his young son over the following years.[15] The elder Cruz worked his way through college as a dishwasher, making 50 cents an hour.[19] Cruz's father today is a pastor in North Dallas and became a U.S. citizen in 2005.[20]

I began contacting the Cruz campaign from the time he began his campaign for the US Senate in Texas to get clarification as to his *STATUS* and to date I have heard nothing but SILENCE on this point. That is why his 'announcement' yesterday that he would renounce his Canadian citizenship and provide his birth certificate make me want to PUKE! He makes a big deal out of a couple things while ignoring the citizenship of his father. NLP in full play.
I have sent numerous emails to the Cruz office WDC requesting that he not pursue a quest to run for President due to his not meeting the true definition of being *NATURAL BORN*. I have encouraged him to come clean on this point and to become a GREAT STATESMAN rather than just another phoney OBAMA occupying the Oval Office. Again - no response from his office.
There is no way that Ted Cruz can ever meet the NATURAL BORN requirement because his father was NOT a US Citizen when he was born.
The purpose of the natural born citizen clause is to protect the nation from foreign influence. Alexander Hamilton, a Convention delegate from New York, wrote in Federalist No. 68 about the care that must be taken in selecting the president: "Nothing was more to be desired than that every practicable obstacle should be opposed to cabal, intrigue, and corruption. These most deadly adversaries of republican government might naturally have been expected to make their approaches from more than one querter, but chiefly from the desire in foreign powers to gain an improper ascendant in our councils."[5] St. George Tucker, an early federal judge, wrote in 1803 that the natural born citizen clause is "a happy means of security against foreign influence", and that "The admission of foreigners into our councils, consequently, cannot be too much guarded against."[6] Delegate Charles Pinckney of South Carolina said in a speech before the Senate, "to insure experience and attachment to the country, they have determined that no man who is not a natural born citizen, or citizen at the adoption of the Constitution, of fourteen years residence, and thirty-five years of age, shall be eligible."[7] [SOURCE https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_born_citizen_of_the_United_States ]
Since Ted Cruz chose to be DECEPTIVE in how he *came forward* about his eligibility to run for President of The U.S.A., and DECEPTIVE is the ONLY way one can describe this bit of theater yesterday, I can only reach the conclusion that this man cannot be TRUSTED to uphold his oath of office any more than the other clowns that now sit in elected office. The fact that Cruz will wriggle around the FACTS about his eligibility to run for President tells me that he will LIE about other things as well. With the extensive education and hands-on experience Ted Cruz has had with the LAW - there can only be one conclusion reached about his intentions - HE IS A HALF CUBAN VERSION OF THE HALF NEGRO who now occupied our Oval Office. He is just the latest version of a NON-NATURAL BORN usurper looking to live off the ignorance of the American voters.

AUSTIN, Texas U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz said Monday that he will renounce his Canadian citizenship.
The Texas Republican and tea party favorite announced his plans Monday night in a statement. The move comes in the wake of a report by The Dallas Morning News that Cruz holds dual U.S. and Canadian citizenship.
Cruz released his birth certificate amid concerns that being born in Canada could derail a possible presidential run by the tea party firebrand.
