[> [> I still can't understand why the main NASA launch site is in stormy Florida. I love that it's down here, but at the same time, it just doesn't seem logical to me! We always have thunderstorms in the afternoon in the summer--you can almost set your clock by them. I don't think the rest of the week is supposed to be any better, but we'll just have to wait and see. -- Lynn, 23:46:47 07/02/06 Sun [1]

[> [> We sure heard the twin booms as the shuttle arrived in Florida this morning! It rattled the windows, but it's a good sound to hear when awaiting the shuttle. -- Lynn, 23:22:13 07/17/06 Mon [1]

[> It was AWESOME to see the shuttle land. I was actually at work when it landed, so we saw it on the Internet. The funny part was that I was just starting Space on Monday. So it was kinda kool that everything happened on the same day. :) My kids LOVED watching it land. A 4 yr old told me he wants to be an astronaut. -- Rae-Anne, 00:18:47 07/22/06 Sat [1]
