Subject: Check out this cool website: http://www.archive.org/web/web.php -- It's an internet archives site. It's fun to type in old web addresses and flash back to the past to see what they looked like, or what info they had up at the time. Just thought I'd share! :)

[> How cool! I just checked out daxmusic.com, and found the old "Ask Dax" Q&A. Does anyone remember that? I didn't get very far into it, but I found this one from Lil that cracked me up! Click here--I posted it in the reply box. ----->> -- Lynn, 23:36:20 06/14/06 Wed [1]

Hey Dax..I've really missed your humorous and sarcastic answers since you left the tour, but now I'm glad see that it is back. Sometimes, my sarcastic answers get me in trouble so I find your humor quite enjoyable. OK, here is my question. I guess that it is inspired by last night's Grammy Awards. If you were to win a Grammy for best songwriter, what do you think you would say when you go up to accept your award? Thanks.

lil ol me

Hey Lil,
First of all, I'm not sarcastic...I'm creatively cynical.

I guess my Grammy speech would go a little something like this:
*sound of ECG machine after paramedics revive Dax's heart when his name was called*

"Thank you, everyone! I know I don't deserve this as much as the other nominees...especially Puff Daddy...oh wait, he doesn't actually write the songs, he samples them. My bad. Anyway...
I'm standing up here tonight because of the love and support of countless people, but I only have time to name a few of them. My mother and father for giving me life, my sister Jill for letting me know who's boss, my grandfather for his musical talent, my grandmother for all the fried chicken and pie I could eat, my wonderful piano instructors, five guys called 'N Sync for taking a chance on a skinny white kid to play that funky music, the whole crew at daxmusic.com and The Dax Files...and Lil Ol Me, for suggesting I write up a Grammy acceptance speech in the first place. Well, they've started the music to hurry me offstage...Wait! I haven't thanked---" (click)
