Subject: Just wondering...

...if US 5 is a big thing in the US? You know, the new band that Lou Pearlman did bring together, searching in the US and Germany...Over here its nuts, really! The kids are crazy about them (or about Tokio Hotel, a German band who are somehow the opposite of the nice boys from US 5. The fans of the both groups seem to hate each other...).

Anyway, its like a deja vu. I mean, the second video of US 5 is like a remake of I think the song was "Backstreet's Back" if I'm not wrong...you know, the video with Nick as the mummy, Kevin as Jekyll and Hyde and AJ with the pizza on his head. And the debut album is called: "Here we go"...doesn't that remind us of a certain song? :) And of course not to forget: Lou appearing in the videos like he did before.

I just hope those kids in the band (geez, I feel so old when I write "those kids", lol) will have a happy ending...and I must give in I like their current single :)

So what's it like in the US?

Micha

[> LOL, "knowing" Lou he will for sure bring them over to the States when they are "done" over here. We've seen it all before. Maybe I was a bit too fast with my post :) But I remember that some time ago someone here talked about Lou looking for a new band...and the result is US 5 with 3 members from the US and 2 from Germany. New deal - 2 from over here. And it sells EXTREMELY well... -- Micha, 02:40:02 12/01/05 Thu [1]

[> I have 'heard' of them. I have never listened to any of their music. Yep, $$ hog Lou is at it again. You would think these 'kids/teens' would be smarter and stay far - far away from him; especially after seeing what he did to Nsync and BSB. -- Robyne, 11:18:31 12/01/05 Thu [1]

[> [> The question is if them kids really saw what happened to *NSYNC/BSB. It happened a few years ago when they were REALLY little boys so its kind of a deja vu for us but for them...hm...But that's why I talked about "happy ending" above...All on can "blame" them for is that they're just trying to life their dreams..But guess what? One of them guys living in the US can speak German perfectly. But he's not allowed to do that anymore, the management told him so. That's crazy. And have plans to "conquer" Asia and the States pretty soon as I heard yesterday in a report on tv. -- Micha, 02:21:44 12/02/05 Fri [1]
