Subject: He smirked a little at Joey's comment and shook his head before taking another long sip from his beer, only to be interrupted by his long-awaited date's arrival. He couldn't help the slow grin that spread over his features as he stood slowly, leaving his drink on the coffee table. "Hey pretty girl..." His voice was soft and he cleared his throat before running a hand slowly through his hair, taking the moment to gather his wits about him - losing composure and stumbling over his words really wasn't his style, so he would rather a moment of silence than to completely embarrass himself. He laughed softly then and shook his head once more, holding out a hand to her - he wasn't too sure what even to say to her. "You look amazing..."

  • She ducked her head a little shyly, a rare flush crossing over her face as she smiled in pleasure of his compliment. "Thanks..." She murmured, her hand sliding into his. Her eyes moved up to his face and then down to his clothing, smiling again. "You don't clean up so badly yourself..." She murmured warmly, her hand coming up to brush his hair back out of his eyes. She forgot Joey and Jackie were even in the room, to focused on the man in front of her. This was his big night and more than anything she wanted everything to go perfectly for him.
