Subject: Bashful wasn't usually a quality that she displayed - normally she was so confident and bright - and he found it endearing that she seemed almost shy. It was a big night and he was excited for the both of them - that she could be there with him to experience it all. Tugging her to his side, he hooked an arm around her neck and pressed a kiss to her temple. "You ready to go, sweetie?" He smiled down at her for a moment before loosening his arm around her, his hand brushing slowly down her back to rest on her hip. Also, he had no doubts that she would get along fine at the event - she was a people person and just because she was dressed up in some fancy dress didn't mean that she forgot how to talk to people.
