• She had kind of tried to stay out of the midst of things as much as possible. Though she hadn't really known Lysia very well, just seeing everyone around the house in so much pain was more than enough to bring her down there as well. She was helping out with making dinner and keeping things tidy as much as possible, all the while sticking to the background and out of everyone's way. • She padded barefoot over and settled instead into his lap, one arm slipping tightly around his neck and her forehead touching his gently before she kissed his cheek and then his brow. She assured him easily and softly, resting her head gently against his and her fingers still playing soothingly through the hair at the back of his head and her other hand curling around his arm. "Can I get you something? Food or a drink?" • He let out a withdrawn sigh and shook his head a little, keeping her warm, small frame tucked close to his chest as he laid back in the couch, hugging her tight and pressing his lips to her hairline at her forhead, murmering quietly there "Nah... • "Sure, of course..." A gentle but brief smile touched her lips as she shifted to stretch out with him - grabbing a blanket off the back of the couch and tugging that over them both first. With a soft sigh, she tucked one leg between his and rested a hand on his side, twisted into his shirt, and then pressed a warm kiss to his neck as she pressed closer to the comforting warmth of his body. • She had missed him the most through that last year of high school because she thought he deserved to be there with her and the other kids - doing the 'senior year' sort of things. She was just glad to have graduated though, and there had been a point where she had had to make that decision - to miss her friends who had gone different ways, or to do this one thing for herself. She had always hoped - when things hadn't been quite so rough and there had been time to dream about prom - that Jason would take her, even just as friends.
