  • He smiled as he saw her all bundled up. "Hey.." Quickly he stripped down to his boxers and slipped between the sheets. As soon as he was close enough he drew her into his arms, pressing a soft, loving kiss to her lips. "Joey's finally going to sleep...you alright?" He was always so concerned - all this made him nervous - she was to prone to turning to other things to comfort herself. • She had done the same as him before getting into the bed - left her jeans on the floor and crawled in in just her tee and underwear - and was welcoming of the warmth of his body. Shivering a little, she scooted close to him and returned his kiss quickly and wrapped her arms tightly around him, tucking one leg between his. "It's much warmer at home..." She knew all of this was excessively stressful for him - he was dealing with his own pain, as well as trying to comfort all of his friends, and she really didn't want him to have to worry about her on top of all that, though she knew he would any way. • He smirked lightly, his lips moving over her jaw absently before he nodded. "I know, we are getting all spoiled...forgetting what its like to rough it." He smiled lightly, he was happy she didn't have to 'rough it' anymore. He could take care of her better then he ever imagioned he would have been able to and he was proud of that. She teased him gently, and tipped her face up to him with a soft smile - it was dark in the room, but her eyes had adjusted and she could make out the familiar contours of his features. "You're the best things that's every happened to me, Kaden." She promised him - softly in the silent, still room, but with conviction. There was no telling where she would be now if he hadn't taken a liking to her just a few months ago. She teased lovingly, and one eyelid dropped in a wink as she reached up to catch his lips warmly for a long moment before just lingering there with her eyes still shut as he peppered her face with kisses. A soft sigh of contentment slipped from her lips and one hand twisted absently in to his hair, her toes sliding up and down his calf. "Not bad... You must be exhausted." She didn't have to be up at any specific time, so she was just happy knowing that she could sleep in, but he really hadn't had any time to take a breather for a long while. • He ran his other hand over her cheek before he shifted to draw her so she was laying somewhat on top of him. His eyes drifted over her face as he let out a slow breath. He was trying to be patient as far as the physical aspect of their marriage went but it was getting difficult to have a wife and not really have her in all the ways he wanted. • She shifted easily over him, her elbows resting on the bed on either side of his head and her fingers toying through his thick dark hair as she dipped her head to kiss him sweetly once more, then brushed her cheek softly against his. With every day that passed, her feelings for him only intensified - he gave her so much and never asked for anything in return. • "Almost never..." She corrected him playfully, and pulled her hair over one shoulder so that the side of her neck was exposed for him, her eyes lightly shut for a moment. "Yeah, sure, of course..." She agreed quietly - she was all for helping out any of the other kids in any way that they could. Her fingers fisted gently in his hair as a quiet sigh slipped from her gently parted lips and she pressed closer to him, tone absent. "You're due for a hair cut... We'll go this weekend..." • He nipped lightly before he nodded, resting his head back on the pillow. He liked that she took care of him like that - telling him when he needed a haircut and whatnot. She commented casually, though a smile lingered over her lips as she dipped her head to kiss the side of his mouth sweetly and then shifted a little so that she could rest her head on his shoulder, her gaze turning up to him every few moments. "We could have done with a double if all we were going to do was sleep..." He never pressured her in to anything, and though it still kind of amazed her that he would still want her even though she was so used, that just made her want to do more for him. • She watched him wordlessly as he was clearly lost in thought for a long moment - her bright blue eyes just completely adoring on his features. Before she replied to his inquiry, she responded to his comment about her moisturizing - by shifting a little to pull off her tee and toss that to the floor, more content being closer to his warm flesh in just a thin camisole. The hint of a smile lingering over her fine lips, she pushed one hand slowly through his hair once more and dipped her head to kiss the tip of his nose. "All the time... I worry about that all the time." She couldn't believe that after - like all the other kids - being abandoned by her parents, and then bounced from neglecting foster home to neglecting foster home, and then eventually winding up in the state juvenile corrections facility, she could actually have a home, and friends, and a man who cared enough about her to make some huge sacrifices in his life to help her out.
