She grinned lightly, winking up at him before she sighed, cuddling a little bit closer to make sure she stayed fairly warm so she wouldn't have to make him go inside. "What have you been up to?" She questioned, looking up at him as her hand shifted to rest on his leg like his was on hers. She enjoyed spending time with him, he relaxed her almost as much as she appeared to do him. A smile played on her lips as she squeezed his knee playfully, tipping her head to the side to see him better. "How's my painting coming?" She questioned, her voice teasing.

But he smirked a little at her comment, and then glanced down to her at her closeness and the simple touch, a bit of a smile remaining in place over his normally dark and almost harsh features. "Work's been keeping me busy..." He was complex person and it was nice to have such a simple job - he knew his duties and worked mostly on his own, except when there was a big project or something, and there were just such few complications.
