Subject: He looked over when he heard the door opening, immediatly tossing the smoke over the edge of the porch railing and then sitting up, offering her a seat on the lounge he was relaxing on so that she wouldn't have to sit on the ground. "Hey butterfly...how you feelin'?" He questioned, shifting to sit next to her so he could raise his hand to play over her stomach, hoping to the feel the baby respond to his voice as it did so many times. Made him feel good to think that the kid already knew who he was, like he was doing something decent for it already...

  • She took a deep breath, a heaving sigh and offered him a bit of a smile. "Better now that I've had a bit of a snooze." She looked down at his hand on her stomach and smiled a bit, it was cute, the playing house and pretending like they were going to be able to handle this. Now that the morning sickness had passed, she sometimes believed she could, but knew that the reality of things were that she had spoken a couple of times anonymously to a social worker who was planning to help her set up proceedings for adoption once she got a bit closer to actually having the child. She knew he didn't like it, but she also knew she had no real other choice. "How has your day been?" (NT) -- Astrid, 19:48:48 04/23/06 Sun
