He sighed softly at her questioned, his head tipped up to the shower as he let the hot water run over his buzzed head and then his face and chest. "Probably." He stated honestly, his eyes closed as he shampoo'd his hair. "I don't think she even really wanted that kid, you know, if it hadn't been for Rio taking her in and coddling her and going through it all with her...it would have just been a product of rape...but when Rio came along and started being the daddy to her mommy...made her kind of want it, I guess." He shrugged a little, turning his back to the hot spray, keeping his arm carefully out of the direct shot of water. "Maybe she resents that we will have what she kinda felt force to give up..." He shook his head, his brow furrowed. "Man, I know that Jackie and Rio...they love each other and all that...but sometimes I think she's going to give him a heartattack or something...kinda wanna take him out, get him drunk and him off to get laid by some hot, no strings attached babe who doesn't have so many damn issues."

She merely pursed her lips at that and said nothing- she'd been one of those hot, no strings girls without issues once... before it all got complicated...before she'd gotten knocked up. she loved Joey- and she felt safe with him- something she had never felt before- but sometimes she still had a hard time trusting it- especially in her current situation. It made her wonder if thats what he wanted to do too... if maybe in Rio's current situation he saw something of a mirrored image. Her hand moved over her stomach and she stayed thoughtfully quiet, she didn't voice her concerns- she knew Joey would take them personally and get upset with her- and that she'd sound pathetic and whiney and insecure- something she tried to never be.
