It made her wonder if thats what he wanted to do too... if maybe in Rio's current situation he saw something of a mirrored image. Her hand moved over her stomach and she stayed thoughtfully quiet, she didn't voice her concerns- she knew Joey would take them personally and get upset with her- and that she'd sound pathetic and whiney and insecure- something she tried to never be. "He likes to be the hero." She merely commented. He'd always tried to be her hero- but she just had never played along as the distressed damsel.
