• Rio came to his door in a pair of jeans which hung low on his hips and a white beater, his muscled torso clear through the material, and his thick arms on show. "Hey man..." he murmered at seeing Kaden. He'd always gotten along witht he guy- though Rio tended to get along with everyone. "Whats up?" Rio wasn;t around this place much through the day- he worked long hours still- and he liked to stay out of the way of the place... • "Hey...listen, is Jackie in? I haven't seen her for a few days, she's not gettin' sick again is she?" Not that Rio wouldn't take care of her if she was. He had a lot of faith in the couple, kinda thought that they were keeping each other afloat and all that. He also knew Rio made some decent money working hard manual labor too but didn't get medical coverage or anything like that so at least the kid had his act together. Kaden figured they would be the next ones (after him and Ella) to head out on their own, starting their own lives but still entangeled in the going on's at the house. • Rio frowned a touch at that, even the thought of people still thinking they were a couple was painfull. He opened the door wider for Kaden and headed into his room to roll a join, sitting down on the edge of his bed "I wouldn't know man... sorry...." It did make him worry a little though... he just assumed she was hiding away when he got home from work- though it was often so late that he got home that she could have just gone to bed. • He looked near shock at that. Jackie loved Rio more than anything, Kaden knew that, they'd talked about it. What the hell had happened to make her break up with him? His brow furrowed a little as he took in the room, noticing it was a bit bare and smelled strongly of the sweet stench of weed, indicating Rio had been smoking a bit more than he used to recently. That was understandable, the other man had to be hurting. "Oh..man, I'm sorry, I didn't know." He paused, his eyes narrowing. "Broke up about...four or five days ago, huh? • Rio frowned a touch at that "I've been working late... and visiting Nina in the hospital.... so I havn't been aorund much... No one mentioned she'd not been around either..." But everyone was pretty preoccupied what with the whole drama with Nina and the new arrival of her and joey's baby girl. • He frowned heavily, thinking back to when they had been in lock up and Jackie had been put on suicide watch so often. If the girl was broken up about the break up like Kaden imagioned her to be then it probably wasn't a good idea to leave her alone for days on end. He nodded a little, obviously distracted as he headed out of Rio's room and down the hall. He didn't bother to knock on the door to Ella's room, just walked in and promptly a "Goddamnit, Jackie!" was heard before the door slammed shut. The girl was just laying in bed, in the dark by herself with no lights. She was wearing jeans and a t-shirt and holding a bear and it looked like she hadn't eaten in days. He spent a good half hour in there and before long there was the sound of a shower going and Kaden came back in the hallway and down to Rio's room, leaning against the doorframe. • Rio had been pacing his room a little after he'd heard Kaden curse at his ex girlfriend and slam the door. He was aggitated to say the least... and concerned. He spun around to the door as kaden came back to his door. "I don't know.. probably... I only just gothome before you came..." Rio explained, frowning a bit as he closed the distance between him and Kaden a little "Is she alright? She's ....done anything to herself right? Will you watch out for her?" • He shrugged his shoulders in agitation, his brow furrowed. "I doubt she's left the bloody bed since the two of you broke up. I got her in the shower and tried to convince her to eat something but you know her, she's a flipping martyr for the rest of the world and then punishes herself over it." "I am going to talk to Ella and see what she thinks about having Jacks come and stay with us for a few days, just till she gets her emotions under control...the last thing she needs is to slip into a serious depression." • He frowned at that and ran his hand over his corn rows- more stressed now than he'd ever been when they'd been together- he couldn;t do anything to help her now. "Try giving her chicken noodle soup... its her favourite... and oreo's...the mint ones... Strawberries too" He murmered to Kaden, listing a few of her favourite foods. "If she wont eat them at least get her to drink some milk..." He nodded a little at the idea of Jackie staying with Kaden... if she was trying to stay out of his way then at least she wouldn't have an excuse to hide away at Kadens- he hardly ever went over there. "She doesn't want to eat, she doesn't want to leave her room, she just wants to wallow in her self pity and live in a little fantasy life she's created where you are off being happy and prosperous and she is not existing." "I put her in the shower by picking her up and putting her in there with all her clothes on and everything." He shook his head, his brow furrowed. • "No, she expects you to go out, hook up with some girl and have lots of carefree sex." He sighed softly, his brow furrowed. "She thinks she was weighing you down. Making her support her emotionally and financially. She said something about you putting in extra hours at work or something?" He shrugged a little, his brow furrowed. "She's not quite to the point of being able to talk about you yet without bursting into sobs that kind of make it hard to catch what she's saying." He sighed softly, shaking his head. "She's self sacrificing, Rio. She sacrificed her body to her family to make them money, she sacrificed her happiness to doing what she thought would be best for you..." I got almost twenty grand in the bank to put down as a deposite." He'd been saving for two years, forgoing things like going out and alcohol and drugs so he could provide for her- which was all he wanted to do " I thought I could help her... Before you two got serious she couldn't even look me in the eye, you gave her her life back, man and thats the best thing you could have ever done for her." He paused a moment, his brow furrowed a little. "She thinks that she's a burden on you...that you don't do anything for yourself because you are to busy doing it all for her." • He frowned a little, unsure what the 'alright' was too but he needed to get back home to his own wife. "Yeah, well, take care Rio." He stated, planning on getting his wife and then heading to the hospital to see Nina and the baby and have a brief talk with Joey about what to do with Jackie. He'd heard about all that Nina went through and it made him nervous. Ella wasn't even showing yet and it wasn't common knowledge that she was pregnant but it still weighed heavily on his mind. • He took a long drag from the joint. It was a good job his job didn't drug test- because the last week seemed to have gone by in a sweet smelling cloud of smoke. "You too... He watched him leave and then waited a while, frowning a touch and hesitating before getting up and heading downstairs, fixing Jackie some soup and putting a few Oreo cookies on a plate along with a glass of milk and carrying it upto her. He heard the shower still going but he didn;t feel right going into her room, so he knocked on Lacey's door instead, handing her the trey when she answered and taking in her puzzled exression before speaking "Can you put this in Jackie's room?
