• He took a step back from the scent of the pot - it was just to damn tempting. Absently, he ran a hand over his hair and brushed it out of his eyes before he nodded. "Alright..." There was really nothing he could say or do to make anything right for her short of bringing Lysia back and he couldn't do that. She didn;t now what to do to fill the void that Lysi had left and it was eating away at her. • Cam felt the stare and looked over for a second, offering a smile before she went back to focus on the cleaning up she was doing. She didn't want to push her boundaries to far, she had a feeling that this girl was going to the toughest one to get to warm up to her. • She got the feeling she wasn;t going to get along with the girl- but there was nothing much new there. She let her eyes flicker to Joey, moving between the pair of them before hopping down off the counter- not able to deal with the long awkward silence, and taking her joint and her beer out onto the back porch, picking up the blanket off the back of the couch as she went. • Nina hated small talk, and let out a bored sigh as she lifted the joint back to her lips, taking in a deep drag from it and inhaling the soothing drug before exhaling slowly. "Why are you here? No offence or anything... but what are you doing here? Trying to get some hands on experience for the CV? " She lifted her dark gaze untrustingly to the girl, her brow furrowed a touch. She didn;t trust her... she didn;t trust anyone- but particularly her. She sent a pointed look to Nina before she stood up, heading to lean over the porch railing as she looked over the lawn. • She tipped her head to the side, her expression remaining calm. She wasn't one to get angry or riled up easily which was a necessity when dealing with the kids that came up against. "I think that your so busy wallowing in your own pain that your not even seeing that your just causing the guy that you say you care about ten times the amount of pain that your feeling." She shook her head, it was silly for Joey to be dating a girl so much younger then him - they just had completely different mentalities but she didn't really think it was the age that was problem it was just that Nina seemed to be much more immature then Joey. • She drew a breath to calm herself down- it was only the fact that she was Joey's friend that stopped her planting her fist in the girls pretty face. "Is this your idea of therapy? You know what? You know fuck all about me , about Lysia, or about anything that any of us..."She faultered at that, setting her jaw and correcting herself "Any of them have been though. Don;t even fucking try to judge me or tell me how much I can grieve for my best friend. You've got a fucking nerve you know that?" She couldn't quite believe what the girl was saying to her... she had the nerve to impose herself in their lives and then pass such judgements and make such decisions about people and situations she didn;t even know. • She wanted to tell the girl to go hide back in her room but she stopped herself, instead just shrugging her shoulders and turning to take a few steps down the stairs to the yard to take a look around and see what she could fix up down there. • She knew her pain wasn;t helpful but she didn;t know how else to deal with it... she couldn;t just pretend it was all okay... she'd always had to deal with these things alone- she didn;t know any other way. She ran her fingers up through her hair, closing her eyes tightly before turning and storming back into the house, slamming the door shut behind her and casting Joey a hurt and accusing glare before jogging straight back up the stairs, slamming the bedroom door shut heavily- It seemed Joey had a guard dog now. Only when the door was closed did she let her tears fall, sitting down on the bed and resting her head back against the wall, staring up at the ceiling as she let her tears spill her pain. • He startled at the loud slam, his brow furrowed as he saw the doorknob shaking from the vibrations. He knew it must be hard for Nina, losing Lysia - the two were basically attached at the hip before they had both gotten into relationships. • She glanced up at the door, frowning a touch and standing up, going across to it and yanking it open. She let her gaze flicker over his for a second or too, before her own softened, allowing the hurt to shine through as she let him in and closed the door gently behind him, moving into his arms for a much needed hug. At the back of her mind it had accured to her that Cam had a point... Joey didn;t need the extra stress she was giving him- but she didn;t know how to make it better.
