Subject: She sighed in soft relief and scooted closer to him, lying so that she was mostly on her side still, with one leg draped between his and one hand resting on his chest. Her eyes lingered on his features wordlessly, brows just gently furrowed, lips pursed ever-so-slightly as her thumb slowly brushed his warm skin. It was early enough that she wasn't tired with the intention of sleeping through the night, but she was emotionally spent and just wanted to be near him with nothing to worry or think about.
