Subject: She shifted away from him a bit so that she could lie back on the soft but cool ground. Her denim-clad knees bent - light green grass stains spotting a couple different places from her galavanting around that day - she pushed the hem of her soft grey sweater up her stomach a bit so that she could link her fingers over her bare skin, and she blinked a couple times before her eyes adjusted to staring up at the still light evening sky. "Yes, I was social. I helped clean house a bit, and made lunch for the boys, and hung around almost all afternoon. And I napped after dinner.."

  • He looked over at the pup who had settled beside her - apperantly the creature had taken a liking to her. "Well, look at you all domestic." He grinned teasingly before he reached over, playing with her hair absently before he questioned her again. "How are you feeling?" The day before had been a rough one, she had been sick from the withdraw, throwing up a bit and getting the shakes - he had felt so bad about it all and all he could do was hold her hand and murmur his care for her.
