Subject: When the kiss broke, a quiet sound caught in her throat before she inhaled almost sharply, eyes still tightly shut. Her fingers in his shirt didn't loosen, and her hand at the back of his neck squeezed gently, her head dropping back into the pillows. Finally her eyes fluttered open, but reluctantly so. With the kiss over, she felt like she was missing something and she longed already for a connection to him once more - it was when she felt the most herself.
