It was strange, he had never been in an actual relationship before and the girls he had been with before casually had all been so sweet to him just because they wanted his affections - Nina could just be cold sometimes. If he wanted stress he would have just stayed in the den with Jason trying to work out the numbers instead of kicking it out here for a few. His eyes travelled to her for a second, taking in the joint and the way her lips curled around it before he drew his eyes back to the lawn instead.

  • She felt him looking at her and sighed a touch, lowering her own gaze and working her jaw absently. She wasnt the kind to be pawing all over him gratefully when he honoured her with a little time, and if that was what her was looking for he was definately with the wrong girl... she could be affectionate and loving all he liked but only if he gave her something back- some clue that she wasn't the only one who really cared.
