Subject: Even he wasn't dumb enough to suggest she start warming up to Jackie so he just shrugged. "Rio's one of your best friends though, I am sure he'd make time for you." His head tipped as he listened to her before he frowned. "I don't work on my own, when I am working, Jason is working, you know that." Joey was just better at the math and stuff then Jason was so he handled most of that. He wasn't sure how to explain this to Nina but she needed to understand he wasn't one of the kids. He was the grown up here and he had a lot of shit to do.

  • She let out a frustraited sigh and shrugged her shoulders, loweringher gaze and slipping the smoke back between her lips silently, she was fighting a loosing battle that she might as well just give up on. She could just imagine Rio agreeing to hit the town with her like they used to when they actually were best friends. In all honesty she felt more alone now than she ever had. Perhaps because in the past she;d never hoped for any better or expected any more. "Fine... I'll go out and entertain myself" Getting out of the house may be just what she needed.
