  • He frowned a touch at that, when she had said 'sick' he had assumed she meant like physically ill, not mentally so. He leaned back against the wall, kicking off his shoes and just keeping his eyes on her. He could tell that she wasn't really feeling the whole talking about the family thing so he eased away from that subject. "So how do things run around here?"
