Subject: "I'm still kinda reeling from you showing up here in the first place, y'know?" She cleared her throat a little bit - all of the things, memories of her past and her father and times when her mother had not been unwell - things that she had worked for years and years to wall up with the best bricks and strongest mortar were coming to light with such ease it was crushing to know that all her time and effort had been so wasted.
