She bit her lip, her brow furrowed a touch as she frowned, her eyes went to the door also, but she was thinking of seeing him with Nina that night. Thats the kind of a girl he needed, a little spitfire with streetsmarts and credibility and that was definately not what she was.

  • Him and Nina were the past... and while they tended to linger there in an almost hopeful parody of simpler times, things would never return to the place they had come from... they'd taken all they could from each other- now all they seemed to try and do was reminise. It was fairly obvious they wanted different things now than they did when they were thirteen. He tensed his jaw and ran a hand over his tight braids, pursing his lips as she spoke. "Why not? You deserve to have someone fighting for you" She deserved a knight, and while he knew he could never be all she deserved he could only try and fill the void till she found herself, and her knight.
