He moved to her doorway but step into her room, not with her in this frame of mind- she didn;t look like she wanted him invading her space "Why you actin' like this with me?" she had been so easy with him before, so relaxed... not she was acting like she was terrified.

It was so much more guarded then it had been before, earlier in the evening she had been gazing up at him with adoring, trusting eyes. His position in her life had changed in a period of hours, dropped down to putting him with every other guy who posed a threat to her.
