Thanks for the info on Charlie and Howie. Both my brother Dick and I worked for Hank Allison at the Gulf station at Mill and White Plains Roads during the late 40s (Dick) and early 50s (me) and knew Charlie and Howie. Hank was a personal family friend for many years and I always sought him out whenever (not often though) I returned to Eastchester for a visit. Not revisiting Eastchester has always been a regret, especially since we lived there from January 1942 until my graduation in 1955 and leaving for college. My dad passed away in 1960 and my mother moved from there to Florida in 1964, so most contact was lost after 1964. Regretfully never did get back for any class reunions, especially the 50th in 2005. Maybe there will be a 55th in 2010!
