She was an active festival holding queen and if she was truly wanting to run for Etouffee then she should have not been actively traveling. And I get the whole no one was there to compete well then if they need a teen that bad then appoint one or let her be there for the festival but not actively traveling they have a Miss Queen for that. The form specifically states you can not hold a festival title to compete and if that means you are refusing to her moving from teen to Miss being OK then state that so you have more entries because after all this is part of a fundraiser for the church. You can make what ever excuses you need to believe she is ok but everyone knows she has been traveling as another Festival Queen she accepted that doesn’t matter if it was a signed contract or not, in the public’s eyes she has been ACTIVELY traveling as another Queen. She is young and she could have waited a year to compete for the title. And Iif she would have not won would she have continued to travel under her Teen title? I’m sure she would have. My point iOS this was truly unfair to the other contestants who also worked hard and was also deserving.

Clearly she worked harder having come back for the second year in a row and won,she also had the same teen title last year when she competed, but she didn't win, so I love how THIS year it is a problem. Any festival has the right to release it's queen from their contract in order for them to compete. Happens ALL the time. - Oh and By the way the teen queen for Etouffee also held a title and was released early in order to compete....and the Miss queen from last year was stripped of her title and allowed to compete....and.....oh well you get the point...or maybe you don't since this is all a means to bash the new Miss queen....         Also some Forms state they can’t run for any other Festival title. Some also state they may run for school or city. Not sure what is on either of those two contracts for contraband and maybe you should be also check before calling a festival out. The point is it should have been taken out of the form if this was going to be allowed. You can try to justify this all you want but it is wrong.
