É claro que o referendo é sempre uma oportunidade de democracia directa e participativa. E em última análise são mesmo os cidadãos eleitores quem deve ter a última palavra. Até porque há questões transversais em relação às práticas e políticas dos partidos.
Mas no caso do aborto (ou IVG) acho que a Assembleia da República tem não só o mandato (o direito) como a obrigação de legislar sobre a matéria.
No ultimo referendo a questão acabou por ser "decidida" por uma diminuta minoria de Portugueses. Lembram-se da abstenção?
