Subject: Charles Napier (1936-2011)

An actor with credits back to the late 1960s, one of his earliest television roles was as one of the hippies in the Star Trek episode "The Way to Eden."

He became known for playing tough guys, and had guest starring roles on Mission: Impossible, Kojak, Baretta, The Rookies, The Rockford Files, Starsky and Hutch and The Incredible Hulk.

He was country singer Tucker McElroy (of The Good Ole Boys) in The Blues Brothers (1980) and Murdock in Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985).

Napier was a good actor. He'll be fondly remembered. He was good in Star Trek ep "The Way to Eden" as Adam.
