Like Tim, I also didn't realize that the original Godzilla was edited and Raymond Burr was worked into the film.

It wasn't until the mid-sixties that I found out about Godzilla being edited. I finally got to see Gojira a couple of years ago when I got the double DVD.

I saw Rodan in the theater in 1959 and again on TV about 1963 and I thought it was a cool monster.
A few years ago Rodan was on Cinemax, so I recorded it, but I didn't enjoy it as well either.

The same for Mothra. I liked it a lot when I first saw it, but in later viewings, it didn't hold my interest that much.

I haven't seen "The Mysterians" in over 45 yrs, so I don't how that film will hold up for me whenever I catch it again. I know I really liked it when I was a kid.
