Belated comments here. I pretty much agree with Tim/Rick about this movie. The players acted well, especially Gloria Holden, and Pichel was creepy as Sandor. To me, a couple iconic parts Tim mentioned..."Thank you. I never drink..wine." Also, "I am Dracula's daughter." (Whoa!!!)

The initial revelry in Transylvanian village was charming and perhaps costliest set...one could easily spot budgetary constraints throughout film. To me, if it were longer with less fog, it might have been still better. I caught some of Roemheld's segments. FG music always welcome fare.

Surely Dracula had more offspring...perhaps a new version with updated tech might be of interest, for say...."Dracula's Siblings." Perhaps a spoof. Either way, curious possibilities.
