I haven't seen The Black Cat in a couple of years, and cannot top the examples cited by Joystar and Officer Torch regarding this timeless Karloff-Lugosi classic. What a film!

I always get a chuckle out of the following exchange early in the picture:

Peter Alison: "I don't know. It all sounds like a lot of supernatural baloney to me."

Dr Werdegast: "Supernatural? Perhaps. Baloney? Perhaps not. There are many things under the sun."
