one of my fave moments in b of f (and i have many fave moments) would have to be in the old wooden house with the blind old man, that whole sequence is brilliant!

Yes, the scene in the blind hermit's cottage is a classic that engenders both humor and pathos.

It's also fun to see a young John Carradine as one of the hunters who arrives at the cottage and "rescues" the old hermit from the monster.
