Bela Lugosi died 52 years ago this day, August 16, 1956, at the age of 73.

He was one of a kind. Great actor and father and husband, too.

He was indeed a family man, Rick. His son Bela Jr was born in 1938 and eventually became an attorney. His practice was based in Los Angeles at one time, but I don't know if he is still in practice today or not.

Thank you, Tim. His legacy will never be forgotten. Thank God for VHS and now DVD, so his work can be seen forever by those who appreciate him greatly.

Bela Lugosi is near the top of my all time favorite actors list.

As for Bela Jr. I don't know if he is still practicing law today either? I know he still appears at monster shows and a few other public events.
