During the following week they found time for each other one more time in the supply closet. Jerry had final exams the three days after Memorial Day so the planned celebration was kept to only one afternoon on Memorial Day. AJ, Harm, and Sarah invited all of their friends from JAG to join in a barbeque in AJ’s back yard so they could hear about Jerry’s appointment and meet the twins. Everyone had a great time and noticed how Harm and Sarah had evolved into a couple.
Jerry finished the semester at Georgetown with good grades and had a week off before they had to take him to Annapolis. It took some extra fancy dancing but Harm and Sarah got the week off and everyone loaded the jeep for a trip to Grandma Sarah’s farm.
They were warmly received and had to move beds around so Harm and Jerry shared one room, the twins in another and Sarah by herself. Sarah and the twins spent special hours with Grams and bonded as stories were told and lives exposed. Harm and Jerry worked around the place fixing things they found on Gram’s Honey-do list. Harm and Sarah took walks with the twins and enjoyed the peaceful farm. Grams watched and knew that big changes were happening in her grandson’s life.
Chapter 4:
After dark on Friday evening, Grams made a special flavored tea and invited Harm and Sarah to sit with her since the others were already in their rooms.
(G) I have watched you two all week and you seem to be in love with each other. Are you making special plans?
(H) No plans yet, but………..we have been working on the “love” part.
(S) It is complicated since we work together as a team. We will make a decision of what is best for our family if our feelings continue to grow. I can’t even imagine a life without Harm.
(H) I feel the same. I want to be with her 24/7.
(G) If you get married, will you want other children?
(S) Truthfully, I don’t think we have ever discussed that. For me, I believe my husband would deserve a child of his own. My kids are great but Harm deserves the love of a newborn baby that he and I conceive. My children say they want him to adopt them as well. I will do everything possible to make sure the Rabb bloodline continues because I am proud of what it stands for.
(H) Wow, I am glad you feel that way. I learn something new about you every day. That was a nice surprise.
(G) Please remember that I want to be invited to the wedding.
(H) You will if there is one. We are in the early stages but I would like to believe we will get there eventually.
(S) We are not in a big rush. We want it to be right if and when it happens.
(G) Well, its bedtime now but please keep me in mind.
Grams got up and made it to her bedroom because it had been a good day for everyone.
(S) Everyone is in bed except us.
(H) Yea, I know. Have you ever been to the barn before?
(S) No. Why?
(H) I think I have something special to show you if you are so inclined.
(S) I am so, so inclined. Show me the way.
Harm found the flashlight and they walked to the barn and then up into the loft with the bales of straw. Harm searched and found a horse blanket and made a secluded bed behind the bales. He invited her and they both removed all their clothes before turning the flashlight off. Harm took his time and let her enjoy the foreplay he had planned. After finding her ready he introduced her to oral sex like she never knew existed. He devoted a lot of time and attention and had her floating on cloud nine after many orgasms. He ended by giving her all he had for her and let her scream his name as many times as she wanted. They lay together for a time as things were so warm and fuzzy.
(H) Now, that is the way it should be done. Hurry up is OK every once in a while but you deserve much more of this.
(S) Much more is certainly what I got. Thank you for what you did and it was soooooo gooooooood. I have never allowed anyone to do that before, but I wanted it from you.
(H) People who are married usually find it pleasurable because it brings pleasure to someone they love. It’s all about who they do it with instead of what it is.
(S) Thanks again, I have needed everything from you for days.
(H) I know. I have too. What are we going to do after Jerry leaves?
(S) I don’t know. I guess I need to interview baby sitters. We will find time for each other, I promise. After reading the folders, I agree that summer camp makes a lot of sense for the twins and us.
(H) Sarah, I want to find a way for us to be together 24/7. Would you be OK with that?
(S) Yes and no. We can’t expose my girls to any of this but if it could be done some other way, I am all for it. I want us to be together all the time.
(H) OK I will work on it. Thanks for this.
They returned to the house and eventually went to their own beds for a good nights sleep. All stress had been relieved and all was well.
Grams rolled over with a smile on her face as she also remembered nights in the hay loft. She would need to tell Sarah not to shout so loud next time.
9 June
They packed the jeep on Saturday morning and stayed to have lunch with Grams. They all sat around the big table and Jerry and the twins told Grams about how much fun they had and thanked her for everything. Grams insisted and wrote in their birthdates and phone numbers in her book. When finished she asked and Sarah gave her the same.
Tearful goodbyes took a while but they felt like they were leaving their own Grandma’s house. They were invited back again as they closed the doors to drive away. They all waved and off they went. The drive home was somber at first as each dealt with their own thoughts.
Almost everything was back to normal before they were home. Harm’s mind was working overtime on what Sarah had told Grams about a baby and her explanation of where they were in their relationship. He was going to need to ask her more questions and work on his communication skills so as not to miss anything important.
10 June
Harm was home cleaning up the place at 10:00 when Sarah arrived at his door. She came in and talked about the plans of how they were going to take Jerry over to the academy later in the day. They agreed to leave at 16:00 so he could sign in by the required 18:00. After the agreement, Harm was prepared for her to leave but she ………...didn’t.
(S) I know it has been less than 2 days but…….would you mind terribly?
Harm stood, took her by the hand and led her to his bed. He removed his shirt and found her waiting for him to do hers. He slowly and seductively removed each of her garments and gently placed her in the middle of the bed. He finished undressing and joined her. She wanted to be held and he gladly complied.
The light came on for him as he realized she was loosing one of her kids and was in great distress. He pulled her on top and wrapped his huge arms about her to make her feel warm, safe and protected. She relaxed, melted onto him flesh to flesh and the tears started to flow. He did not do anything to stop them other than let her work thru it. He listened as she talked about so many things that were on her mind. He did not take any action when she repositioned herself and settled on his half-hard shaft during her time talking. She moved some at times but he knew she had other more important things on her mind. He realized that she had come to him because she wanted them to share these feelings together. She had moved him inside of her to complete this feeling of oneness with him that she needed. She finally got quiet and he found her asleep in his arms. He figured they should be at her place no later than 14:00 to load the jeep so he let her sleep until 13:15.
(H) Honey wake up, it is 13:15 and we need to get dressed.
Sarah woke up in the same position as she went to sleep. His arms felt good around her and his shaft firmly filling her.
(S) I’m sorry about that. We didn’t finish, did we?
(H) No, but other things are more important sometimes. Jerry is only going to be 1½ hours away. We can see him anytime he is free. You and I will visit him a lot. We haven’t lost him.
(S) Thank you. May I finish this for you?
Harm nodded as she moved lower and started by kissing the head and working from there. She watched him as he grabbed the headboard and closed his eyes. She enjoyed his every reaction and continued doing what brought him the most pleasure. When he sensed she was ready, he pulled her up into position and entered her bringing both to sweet climax. It was tender, sweet, and it satisfied Sarah that her growing feelings of love for Harm would be returned 10 fold.
(H) Thank you for coming over. You are becoming very important to me and I don’t like being without you. We better get dressed if we are going to make 14:00.
(S) Thank you. Thanks for listening and being here for me. I don’t know what I would do without you.
(H) Your welcome. I don’t plan on going anywhere without you and your family. I want to talk to you about an idea I have after we get back.
They showered, dressed and locked up his place and headed for her house. They sat quietly together after pulling in the driveway.
(S) Please stay close so I don’t cry like a baby. Even though he is Chris’s brother, he feels like my own son. I have always been there for him during all the colds, flu, and other hurts he has had. The twins are going to be lost without him.
(H) I’m going to be with you all the way, babe.
(S) “Babe.” I like that.
(H) Well, you are the “babe” of all my dreams and please don’t ever forget it. I think you are a pretty neat lady.

They gathered all the bags Jerry had packed and stuffed them in the back of the Jeep. Harm drove so the girls and Sarah could spend what time was left talking with Jerry. They were a few minutes early and after Jerry signed in, they helped carry his bags to his room.
Harm handed Jerry a yellow legal pad and asked him to make a list of things he found he needed after the first couple of weeks. They agreed to see him on Saturday the 23rd and would bring what he had written on his list. The goodbyes were drawn out but everyone had a chance to feel Jerry was going to be well taken care of and only a short way away. Harm took him aside for a few private words before leaving.
Driving away was a little tough but Harm made shrimp and steak for dinner sound real good and they started deciding what they wanted to order. They stopped and had a nice meal and Harm and Sarah listened and fielded questions from the twins that were designed to alleviate fear and loneliness because Jerry was starting a new chapter in his life. Harm and Sarah enjoyed themselves after the car became quiet as the twins dozed. The night was mild and the moonlight was captivating as Sarah held hands with Harm as he drove.
(H) Thank you for coming to me and letting me share today. I would like to take our relationship to the next level.
(S) What do you have in mind? We need to be careful around the girls.
(H) I have been thinking about us finding a larger house to rent and then you and the girls would have your own rooms until you and I decide if we can make it long term as a couple.
(S) So, we would rent a larger house, the girls and I would move in with you so we could spend more time together like a real family. You and I could then have more special time for each other when the girls are not there…………………….. I think that could work.
(H) I imagine your smile would still give us away.
(S) Maybe, but the twins already know you make me happy in so many ways. I think they would benefit knowing you would be there like a dad for them.
(H) Will you go house hunting with me?
(S) Yes sir. I would be honored to share a dream house with you.
(H) Do you need anything else before we get to your house?
(S) Yes pull over at the next light.
Harm did as he was told and turned off at the next light and pulled up to a stop. She turned into him and locked lips with him and asked for admittance. He returned the kiss and opened to her request. They filled each others mouths as they took turns in the total experience. Breasts were gently massaged and hands roamed and grabbed quickly fearing the twins would wake up.
(S) That was our 12th kiss and I would like this to happen more often if you also enjoy them.
(H) Your wish shall be my command, my lady. I love kissing you.
They pulled back on the highway and finished the trip with Sarah setting close and turned toward Harm. Both were willing now to show affection and the future as a couple was openly talked about. They woke the twins and each one looked out for one making sure they got safely in the house. After they were in their room, Harm prepared to leave and Sarah followed him to the porch. Harm took her in his arms and gave her the 13th kiss. They stood forehead to forehead for a minute as they thanked each other for the fantastic sex and kisses and a great day.
June 15
Harm knocked and was admitted to Sarah’s office.
(H) It has 5 bedrooms, 4 upstairs and the Master suite downstairs. It has a full basement which is partially finished into a family game room, and a large gourmet kitchen. It is on ¾ acre with fenced in yard. It rents for $300 less a month than we are both paying combined. He has offered us an option to buy after 1 year and will credit what we have paid in rent toward the price.
It is located in the Falls Church school district which is a better school for the twins. It is 1 mile from HQ meaning we could walk if we had to. Would you like to see it?
(S) Yes. Do you think the Admiral would allow us to take off after lunch to look at it before we pick up the girls?
(H)I imagine so but we will not need the whole afternoon.
(S) Yes we do, I need you to give me a lot of special attention when we to stop by your place. You don’t mind, do you?
(H) Not at all. Your idea is so much better than mine.
Harm asked to speak to the Admiral and was told to go for it. He thanked him and returned to his office to gather his things as Sarah did the same. They both drove to his place for a little afternoon delight. Their lovemaking was getting better all the time as each had found what each other really liked and as their feelings for each other was growing. Kissing was becoming part of everything they did, especially during love making, and both looked forward to it.
They showered and redressed at 15:00 and made a pass by school to pick up the twins. They never offered explanation as they made the drive back toward Falls Church. They all took the tour of the house before meeting back in the kitchen. Harm explained that Sarah and he had decided they wanted to live more like a real family and had decided to rent a house together. Sarah explained about all the bedrooms and that she and the girls would have their own if the girls chose to or could take the largest room upstairs if they wanted to stay together.
Laura bluntly asked if her mom and Harm would be sleeping together and Sarah explained again that she would have her own room upstairs. Laura surprised them both when she said it would be OK if they wanted to and Victoria added her agreement.
(S) There might come a day when Harm might ask me to marry him and if that happened I would move in with him, but that is in the future if at all.
(H) Do either of you have any objection to a move to this house?
(L) No. If we are going to camp soon, will we live in the new house when we come back?
(S) Yes. That would be the plan. We would complete the move while you are gone and you would be ready for the new school when you get home.
(V) I want to share the large room upstairs with Laura if it is OK with her. We have been in the same room since we were born.
(L) I would like that also.
(S) The two extra rooms will allow Trish and Frank to stay with us even when Jerry is home. Harm, I think we ought to invite Trish and Frank to visit.
(H) If everyone is OK with this, I will tell them we are going to rent the house in the morning.
Harm and Sarah went on line that night and changed the allotment to the joint bank account putting 60% of their monthly in to pay the rent and all the bills. The house was rented as of the 1st and everything then moved into the planning stages. Boxes were gathered and made ready.
20 June

Sarah noticed a very attractive red head sitting in Harm’s office when she returned from filing a brief. She made her way to the break room and stood watching as Harm was quite animated during his conversation with the beautiful woman. She noticed his trademark smile and knew that this must be an old friend. She felt the pangs of the green-eyed monster but tried her best to regain her composure. Harm had never given her any reason to mistrust him and she felt a little stupid having these feeling and doubting him now. She returned to her office as the phone rang.
(S) Major MacKenzie.
(H) Sarah, if you have a minute, I want you to come to my office and meet an old friend of mine and bring our family picture.
(S) I’ll be right there.
Harm was standing as she knocked on the door and entered.
(H) Brenda Henderson, I would like you to meet my partner and girlfriend Sarah MacKenzie. Sarah, this is Brenda, an old academy classmate of mine and now the owner of Henderson Fashion Modeling here in DC. I ran into her at the grocery store on Sunday and asked her to stop by when she could.
(S) It is very nice to meet you Brenda.
(B) Harm showed me the picture of you and your twins the other day when we met. Sarah, your girls are exactly what I need for an upcoming photo shoot. We are doing a Fall catalog for Macy’s and J.C. Penney and it will be shot on Saturdays since all the young people usually have school during the week. Also, I understand Wrigley is looking for replacement twins for its chewing gum program and I would like to prepare Laura and Victoria for that chance if you approve.
Incidentally, after seeing you, I want you for a formal wear shoot in long gowns and with Harm in different tuxedos. I pay union scale and will work around your schedule.
(S) Harm, are we allowed to do modeling work after hours?
(H) Yes. I explained all of it to the Admiral after seeing Brenda and the only restrictions are no rank or uniforms, nothing inappropriate, and it can not interfere with our work in any way.
(S) What kind of modeling would the twins be asked to do? I would need veto authority on anything which I consider inappropriate.
(B) Mostly shoes, sox, dresses, blouses and other school cloths as well as dress clothes, Items that a child of that age group would want to buy. You will always be allowed to attend every session to monitor everything. You and Harm will have separate shoots at times.
(H) When do you need a decision?
(B) The shoot starts this Saturday at 08:00 and I would really like to include your twins. Check in with my secretary by 07:30 if you can make it so we can select the first outfits.
(S) Harm, can we do it this quickly? They leave the next day for camp.
(H) I think they will get a real kick out of it. It might only be for a day but think of what a chance it will be for them.
(S) We will have them there. Thanks for thinking of us. It was nice to meet you Brenda.
Sarah excused herself and went back to her office.
(H) Brenda, if you can be flexible, I think the twins will enjoy working with you. We have them in camp at times during the summer but they will be on a better schedule after school starts. Please take a look at the Wrigley thing for them as a favor to me. Sarah didn’t say anything about it but I dumped quite a bit on her right out of the blue. Thanks for coming by. Let me know what you think of the twins after you see them on Saturday.
(B) It sounds like her girls have stolen your heart. I always felt you would end up with a brunette after seeing you with Diane and Sarah certainly is a beauty. I am glad my William has a thing for red hair. If we can arrange a baby sitter sometime, would you and Sarah like to have dinner with us?
(H) I would need to talk it over with her but I am sure we could do that sometime. Thanks for asking and thanks for coming by. I know it was an inconvience for you.
(B) I am sure the twins will work out fine. Harm, it was good to see you again. Bye.
After Brenda left, Harm made his way to Sarah’s office and found her on the phone rearranging Saturday’s schedule for everyone.
(H) I should have mentioned Brenda to you before today. She surprised me showing up so soon. I hope I didn’t upset you.
(S) Surprised but not upset. What time are you going to be at my place Saturday morning?
(H) I figure it will take 40 minutes from your house to the studio so I will be there at 05:30 to prepare breakfast so we can leave no later that 06:45. It is almost like a normal school day.
(S) I was surprised when she wanted you and me to model clothing for her. You in a tuxedo sounds fantastic to me.
(H) Not more than you in that black dress you wore to the Consulate Ball. You were a stunning vision to me.
(S) Are we going to do this thing together?
(H) If you let me. I ran with the ball early but I should have talked to you first. She gave me the opportunity and I took it like your kids were my own.
(S) If we make this thing between us work, the twins have told me they want to be your daughters, by adoption naturally.
(H) I would like that. This will probably come as news to you but Jerry has asked me if I would help him change his last name to Rabb. It sure would cut down on all the time we spend explaining to everyone.
(S) I think it would be a good thing. It should tell you what everyone thinks of you, especially me.
(H) Thank you for sharing your family with me. You are really special to me.
They finally got back to work after lunch and the rest of the week flew by.
23 June
Harm arrived as planned and started breakfast as everyone scurried about getting ready. They made it to the studio on time and the twins were taken in for fitting and makeup. Sarah stayed with them in the dressing room and helped them dress in the first outfits. They assembled with all the others of the same age group and followed the photographer to the green screen set. Harm and Sarah watched as many poses and pictures were taken. Sarah went back and forth as different outfits were put on and taken off and pictures were taken again. The girls acted shy at first but joined with the other children having a good time. They broke for lunch and talked about what was happening.
The afternoon was like the morning and everything was complete by 17:00. They had a good time but their feet were hurting because they stood for long periods at a time. The trip home was fun as everyone talked of how neat the experience was.
Sunday
24 June
Harm and Sarah took the girls to the eastern shore of Maryland to the Swim Camp the girls had chosen for the next two weeks. They spent the remainder of Sunday with them making sure they moved into the right housing and met some of their co-campers. They met with the senior director and were assured the safety of the twins. The final drive away from the camp was gut wrenching but they survived. They settled back into a honeymoon routine after getting back to her apartment where they were going to stay for a few days.
26 June
Harm and Sarah stopped by home and changed out of uniform, picked up their clothing bags and hurried to make their 18:30 appointment with Brenda. They found themselves surrounded by seamstresses and others taking all of their measurements and checking their muscle confirmation. The lady in charge of makeup worked around everyone. They were led to the formal clothing racks and Brenda selected a dress for Sarah and asked Harm to dress in the beautiful maroon Mexican Tuxedo which was the only tuxedo large enough for Harm’s height and build.
They shared a dressing room and changed. After they reappeared, Brenda did an inspection of both and decided on a different style dress for Sarah after noticing the small changes earlier breast feeding had caused. The new style brought Sarah’s body into balance with the look of royal class needed. Harm was in complete agreement because he found her irresistible. They were directed to the set based on a jewelry store motif. The director chose the diamonds and watches to be advertised and helped put them on. Many pictures were taken, some with them together and some separately. The director asked for Sarah in a black dress for pictures of the better diamonds and Brenda was concerned because she did not have one for her.
After asking if it was OK, Sarah returned to the dressing room and changed into the black dress she had bought for the Consulate Ball that Harm absolutely loved. Brenda loved how she looked in it and the single strap over the shoulder was also used to highlight the diamonds on the black against her olive skin. They took many pictures and changed necklaces, broaches, and bracelets as they went. It was a very good shoot and they were finally finished at 21:45. Brenda was very happy with the unusual chemistry Sarah and Harm exuded.
They picked up burgers at Beltway and made it home 22:35. They sat together eating and discussing the day. They were on an emotional high with the beautiful clothing and diamonds they had worn. Harm told her he had seen some of the prices and that one necklace she had modeled was priced at $1,200,000. Sarah told him that some of the advertisements were meant to be used on TV as they advertised diamonds as Christmas gifts.
After indulging in a few light kisses, things then escalated into full blown passion and they quickly retired for mutual lovemaking. They totally enjoyed each other until drifting off as the last of the adrenalin dissipated.
27 June
Wednesday was very successful as the case they were defending was decided in their favor. They prepared for Thursday before going home. They spent the remainder of the day and evening in the new rental and ended up in the master suite together for the night.
For the next week, they worked every evening after work moving boxes and items into the new house and enjoying their nights together. They announced to their friends at JAG they needed help at 09:00 on Saturday June 30 to move the large items.
Harm was up early and went to rent a U-haul truck as Sarah was stripping sheets and making beds. The group from work showed up at 9:00 and the first trip was to Harm’s old place. They packed everything up and filled the truck. They brought everything to the new house and moved it into the rooms. Sarah’s place was next and when the truck pulled away, it was just an empty shell. All the furniture was placed and items like refrigerator and washer were hooked up and put into service. The place was looking good as the pizza arrived and everyone stopped for dinner. Everyone toured the house and made suggestions and comments. They added some finishing touches and the place was taking form quickly. When the majority of the gang left, all major pieces of furniture was properly placed and all beds were set up.
Harm, Sarah, Bud, Harriet and AJ were the last there as Harm opened a bottle of non-alcoholic wine and offered a toast to their new home. Everyone was pleased with the day’s effort as they left. Harm took Sarah in his arms and kissed her for the longest time.
(H) Thanks for doing this with me. I am looking forward to being a dad to your girls and an almost- husband to you. I think I am falling in love with you.
(S) You are my almost husband and I am your almost wife. Do you feel like you are missing something important? Do you miss having the other women?
(H) No. I am not missing anything important. How about you? Do you miss being with other men?
(S) I am not missing one thing I want. Being your wife someday would be the only thing better than the way I feel.
(H) I feel the same. Promise me that you will tell me when you are totally ready to be bound to me for eternity so we can get married.
(S) I promise I will. I want you to do the same thing. I think I am falling in love with you too.
They continued to paint and work on the new place making sure the largest room upstairs had fresh paint in the color the girls had picked out. They both finished for the evening and shared the master suite just like man and wife again.
