I have a 6 month old son and went through the same feeling on vaccinations. I know they serve a very good purpose, but was worried about the potential side effects. I read a book on vaccinations and decided to skip the Hep B shots until he's school age. I also break up the other vaccinations. I did the HIB and Polio at 2 months and then the PCV7 and DTap at 3 months, alternating each month. That way, he is still protected from the diseases, but he's not getting all of the vaccinations at once. I chose not to get the Rotovirus vaccine. It was a personal choice. The vaccines he does get protect him from diseases that could kill him, so I feel like I have to protect him, but I understand the internal struggle. My husband and I went back and forth before making the decision we did.
