Hey Kelly,
I was listening to your diary on k pod this morning ( oopps i missed yesterday's show) and I just wanted to say i have a son who will be 2 in december and i had all of the same worries you do. he clapped his hand all the time, for everything,He didnt roll over until he was about 7 months and wouldnt crawl at all. He would get on all fours and ROCK back and forth. He babbled only words we couldnt understand and mama and dada werent one of them.It worried me so much I took him to the doctor at least 4 times a month. Until finally the doctor said that ALL children progress at their own time. If you force them it could take longer.I stopped pushing him and let him figure things out on his own. My son, Aaron, didn't stand until about 11 months and a week after he turned 1 he took his first steps on CHristmas Eve. He has learned so much from then to now and I worry alot less. I know it's hard NOT to worry because their your kids and the last thing you want is for something to be wrong. The best thing you can do is NOT LISTEN TO ANYONE. There will be alot of people telling you to do this and do that, but only you know Emma Kelly. She will eventually start walking and beleive me youll wish she hadn't, so my advice, baby proof now!And enjoy it while you can.:)
