Hi Kellie, I have a son with multiple disabilities and I also work with other parents whose kids are disabled. I know how horrible you must feel right now but every child's development is absolutely different--those books, shows, and doctors all give you guidelines. Only you truly know your own child, but if you still feel like you would have peace of mind knowing then you can have the state's Early Child Intervention program come out and assess Emma Kelly at home for free. The number is 800/250-2246.
