I so agree with what you said about learning what their hands and feet can do. Before my son could walk or crawl, he would lay in his crib or where ever I had him and stare at his mobile and kick his legs, twirl his hands and all that stuff. He looked kind of spastic and it would make me laugh. He never even did the "normal" crawl, it was like the army crawl. then he started walking. These are all "baby steps" learning what comes next. they will fall at first, they hold on to furniture before they let go to take steps on their own, etc. He is now 8, plays basketball and hockey. No autism here. Emma is fine :)
