I have no doubt Kellie, once you put your mind to something you will do it! I would suggest starting with a 5k that you would do in the fall then work up to a 10k for winter or Spring. I think you could run a 5k with no problem! You work out often enough that you heart is probably conditioned for it. It's gettin' the legs to do it that can be tough! :)
